Cam Jordan had an off night. Hendrickson played better.
Brees looks like he missed live bullets of some pre-season.Need to overcome not having M Thomas.

When the offense was obviously sputtering why not pull Drew and put in Taysom? I don’t get it.

Because Taysom isn't a very good quarterback and offers significantly fewer options than Brees. When Taysom takes the snap it is going to be a run. Jameis would be a better option if we are looking for a jump start in the passing game.

It's likely that the team will be playing much better football by the end of October, based on past experience.
Right now, it's much more a matter of foolish mistakes than lack of talent.
