Then land someplace in 2024. Saints will then receive no compensation at all.

Good for him. We would still own his rights.

Why would you expect that? Payton left on good terms with the franchise and isn't going to go out of his way to frick us over. He wants to coach; he's getting back in the game sooner than later.

If he doesn’t lose some weight soon, landing will be certain death. Whales need to stay afloat.

isn't going to go out of his way to frick us over.

The same Payton that retired because he needed a break from coaching and on the first pregame show begging for a coaching job?

Step 1 : remove Payton's dick from your mouth.

Step 2, wipe the cum from your eyes.

Step 3: delete your account

The Saints technically hold his rights until 2024 if Payton wants to return to coaching. Should another team want to sign him during that time span, they would have to “compensate” NOLA somehow, whether through draft picks or money.

That person would be you.

The Saints still hold Payton’s contractual rights, at least through 2024. Arguably, they’re entitled to compensation for his services indefinitely

He's under contract UNTIL 2024 not THROUGH 2024. The dumbarses are ones who believe Saints due compensation even after 2023.

Get over yourself, dude. Pointing out mutual respect between a franchise and its all-time coach is not dickriding.
