Hurt in the wallet..definitely. But like discussed on here, its not like an LSU loss and the season is done. I just wish it wasn't to Dallas though.

To be honest, I thought it would hurt more than it did. It doesn't feel good, but I think it will be easy to put behind us. I don't see a losing streak in our future. Take care of the Bucs Sunday like I know we will and this will be a fleeting after thought

agreed...i mean, we're 13-1. and yes, it sucks that we lost to the Cowboys of all teams, but in the grand scheme of things, hopefully this loss won't matter.

i think it will refocus the team...obviously the incredible opportunity that they had before - of going undefeated and winning the Super Bowl - is gone, but now they can focus solely on the Lombardi trophy.

and it will probably be good for Sean Payton to rip into them.

however, i don't think any loss is "good"...i've always said winning breeds winning and losing breeds losing, so let's hope that doesn't ring true in this case.

I'm never happy with a loss, but it's the first one in 14 games. I can live with that.

No, I am not hurt by the loss. In fact, I am glad the Saints lost because the team is not talented enough to have gone undefeated the entire season. Honestly, losing like the Saints did last night is probably the best thing that could have happened before the playoffs as the Saints got outcoached and outplayed in every phase. The bright spot is that the Saints did not quit playing hard. However, the loss should eliminate any complacency that was setting in and make the coaches and players realize they are going to have to perform their very best if they have any hope of making the Super Bowl. The NFC playoff field is going to be a tough road regardless of who the Saints play.

I'm so used to the saints losing it was bound to happen. I figured it would be the usual lose to 2-12 Tampa Bay but oh well. I take saints losses better than LSU losses no doubt.
