Hurry up, air raid offense in nfl

No one does it, but why? What the eagles are doing now looks more like a college offense than a pro, and it's been very effective. The benefits of a speed, air raid attack in college are catching a defense off guard and preventing subs. Would this not also be beneficial in the nfl? I'm genuinely curious.

If you commit to it like a college team lack of depth probably hurts you more than the opponent longer term.

Hurry up seems to almost always work when nothing else is. If your regular offense isn't working against the defense waiting until you HAVE to hurry up is dumb. Coaches should use it more often.

I can see how this type of offense could kill your defense with quick scores and short possessions in general

You better have a good bit of defensive depth and you BETTER score often. It is a long year and your defense will be worn out.

The cardinals have ran the offense for 2-3 years and haven’t done anything with it. It’s nothing but the Run-N-Shoot from the 1980s and 90s. NFL teams know how to match up against it.

Maybe I just don't watch enough cardinals games, but I don't remember them running at break neck speed like the college versions
