Reid is 28 and also has missed half our games. Sanker and Howden have been our starting safety duo for a good chunk of games.
Cam has been impressive with how he’s been able to contribute but he’s not the star of our defense or anything. Almost all of his sacks have come since Young came back and started causing some havoc that Cam could clean up. Will miss his leadership a ton but on the field he’s our number 2/3 d-end in a position everyone agrees we will target to replace.
Demario yeah is still the heart and soul of our defense and replacing him will be really tough. But that’s one player. Hardly means the defense is “aging”

Replacing a leading tackler is not an easy task.
Can Jordan will also be a blow.

For sure, would be huge if they could hold on and keep being productive for another couple of years to give us more time to find replacements.
But replacing two players, one of him is a rotational DE, does not constitute an “aging defense.”

Man I thought we had it in 2011(SF) and 2018 (LA). I think about those teams and wonder if there is any way any team can be matchup proof. Would be awesome though. They might have something with this qb though. We shall see
