How long does it take to get out of the Dome parking garage after a big game?

Our normal tailgate spot is in a lot near Walk Ons. We have never had any problems with break ins because there is usually a tailgate behind us that watches the game at their tailgate so the lot always has people moving around. Our only "problem" is occasionally having to tell a bum to get lost.

That being said, we are considering moving to the Dome lot next year and have a few questions.

1. How long does it usually take you to get out after a big game/full stadium? It seemed to be moving pretty well yesterday but the Dome was also 1/2 empty so I'm guessing thats not a good indicator of post game traffic

2. Is the top deck first come first serve or you have to buy a specific spot for that? If we can't be on the top deck in open air we are going to stick to usual spot.

3. Do the garages still open 5 hours prior to kickoff?

Thanks for any input

That’s cute you think you’ll get garage tickets in this environment

How have you been? They are assigned. I think it takes a while. Like Tiger Stadium after a close SEC Game

I'm sure it depends on whether or not yours was one of the cars stolen.

Depending on where your spot is, if it’s a close game and everyone stays. I did it once and took me an hour to get out. Now I only park in there if it’s a game like yesterday where I’m taking a toddler and I’m leaving early

ouch. nevermind then. At our current spot we cut across to canal, get on I10 in mid city, and are usually on the causeway within 15 minutes of getting to the truck
