How does this team improve next year with no draft picks and an older Brees?

They can't. This was the team's shot.

Nice I guess you’ll save yourself a lot of time by not having to watch

We don't have a pick until 2033. Damn Davenport.

Y'all are dumb if you don't think this was our best shot.

Massive contract extensions to mortgage 2021 and 2022 for one big run with Brees.

2nd round pick doesn't count?
19mil in cap space
Only 4 "value" free agents (Ingram, Bridgewater, pj Williams, and Davison)

High value, Young players with 1 more year of experience

Oh and all of the 2020 draft picks

throw everything you have in free agency to next year. brees's last year in the nfl. the year after next year will be sacrificial to get trevor lawrence in the following years draft.

not really though.

i agree with your question. saints organization put alot on line for this season and the refs stole it from us. in response all the nfl will do is say 'oops'.

infuriating.
