Who would you draft by POSITION ??
If you can’t get Cam Ward by getting 1-2. Then that means you’re 3-10 in draft position. As this roster stands, I don’t think you can afford to be picky. Every single position needs addressing outside of Center. I could maybe see skipping Tackle since Penning has probably earned another year and Fuaga has looked fine.
If I couldn’t ger Cam Ward, here are the players and positions in order I’d go with:
Mason Graham, DT
Travis Hunter, WR/CB
Abdul Carter, Edge
Nic Scourton, Edge
Tetairoa McMillan, WR
Will Johnson, CB
Will Campbell, OT
Kelvin Banks, OT
Malaki Starks, FS
I view Campbell and Banks pretty high but I don’t think they’ll go there considering how Fuaga and Penning have played. I think they’ll draft some guards in the 2nd-middle rounds to address the interior. I love Starks but safety is slowly becoming a lot like LB where you can just have some guys there. Having an All Pro caliber player helps (Fred Warner) but you can get away just being average at LB and Safety if you have a great DL and great CBs, just look at the last couple of Chiefs teams. Considering Adebo is likely gone and Lattimore is getting older/likely to be traded, I could see them drafting Johnson or Hunter and just letting him play CB every third or fourth series and letting him mostly play WR, which you also need. My favorite pick would be Graham. He’s a monster and a complete player and would immediately improve our run defense and give us two foundational DTs to build off moving forward.
If I was the GM, and both were available, it would be Hunter or Graham and I wouldn’t be able to run to the podium quick enough.

Well do we like our oline?
Do we like our pass rush?
Great year to trade down...but the GM.

I think you have to go OL, our season fell apart because our OL was so thin and already not very good, so a few injuries took us from a good team to one of the worst in the league,
If Nuss is there when we draft I could see taking him and letting him sit for a year, and add OL in 2nd. Nuss has probably best talent in the draft for a qb but he needs more time imo

I’d be fine trading down and accumulating picks
I’d also be fine taking the best offensive lineman available
