I see it the complete opposite. The NFL would love nothing more than for us to hire Flores. Would immediately lessen the allegations in his lawsuit. I'm more concerned they ratchet up the pressure on Gayle to take one for the team and hire him.

Hire him, and fully support his suit against the NFL. Say the Rooney Rule is flawed, which everyone agrees, and get momentum to enact a better plan to get POC into coaching. Maximize your franchise’s value, become a destination for socially minded athletes so you could improve your other franchise in a socially tumultuous league.
