And you would be right cause that dude was terrible, but he played more safety than corner.

You're memory serves you wrong, Toi Cook played corner his entire career as a Saint. When he left he was the nickel/dime for the 49ers on the Deion Super Bowl team in '94-'95. If he played any safety it was his last few years in Carolina, where he finished as a backup.

Toi Cook?? lol

Cook surely gave up his share of receptions to Flipper Anderson during this game against the Rams in 1989. So did Robert Massey. Our secondary got torched despite having one of the best front sevens in the entire league.

Flipper Anderson goes for 336

My memory is fine and he played both as I said, and he was terrible at both. Dude was not a good football player, but you're right at least he has a super bowl ring. Him and Ricky.

yeah, that game was incredible, Flipper made his name household that day. Chris Everrett (lol) picked them apart with Ricky breathing down his arse all day, I wish they had a front 7 like that now.

How many times in that highlight does Everett get rid of the ball right as Jackson or Swilling is about to sack him? The speed those two used to come off the edge with was unbelievable. I'm with you, I miss having that type of front 7.

I referred to your quote about him playing mostly safety. You may be thinking back to Vince Buck, he played corner and free safety almost at an even split during his NFL career.
