On this day in 2006, the Saints hosted the Atlanta Falcons to reopen the Louisiana Superdome following Hurricane Katrina

After receiving the opening kickoff and going 3-and-out (where Scott Fujita caused Mike Vick to fumble on 3rd down that almost resulted in a scoop & score TD itself)...

this is how the Falcons 1st possession of the game ended

the man is a GD hero - no white flags!

I remember watching that game, and when it happened I legit cried - was such and awesome moment - cemented my fandom for life.

I was in the Dome on the 50yd line in the Plaza for that. Loudest the Dome has ever been.
