Not sure he could grasp the offense

Guice would make a great back in an offense that throws to the backs a lot in space

He helped himself out at LSU's Pro Day. He ran a 4.59 40. Big improvement from his 4.72 40 at the combine.

I think Williams is a solid pick in the 5th or 6th round.

What are you basing this on?

The hell you trying to say? He's driven competitor, came to LSU knowing Fournette was in his class. He would learn the offense.

Besides, his role would be as a late-game battering ram. Nothing fancy like Kamara.

I’m saying the dude ran the wrong way on 4th down, doesn’t seem to be adept at route running or pass blocking. He’s a great athlete but it takes a great, smart athlete to excel in this offense. Otherwise you’re CJ Spiller

Pretty sure that was Guice. I thought you were talking about Darrel Williams.

If you're talking about Guice...I'm not really sure how good his pass protection is. As far as just running the ball...he's pretty damn complete (I can't think of a weakness actually). He's nowhere near the receiver that Kamara is, but he can easily catch short passes & screens. He's just not the kind of guy that you line up in the slot & have him run WR routes.

I’m talking about Guice. Williams is a smarter player imo. Guice is obviously more talented but you have to be pretty smart to play on Payton’s offense.

Guice is the best RB in the draft IMHO.

If he is still on the board at 27 the Saints would be stupid to pass him up.

Okay, thought you were talking about Williams. Yeah that 4th down run by Guice was boneheaded and honestly I think he's overrated while Williams is underrated.
