Rams fans are acting like this nullified everything that happened and made it fair. Rams fan sent me this bullcrap below saying that they got screwed on these plays.
Rams take on where they got screwed
How it really went

I remember seeing the stallworth play live and he didnt even touch the player he was to the left. and the play clock doesnt mean shite on tv.
Saying the two facemasks prevented two touchdowns. I dont even remember the cooks one.

Show them the intentional grounding that wasn’t called....Goff was going down and launched it to the sidelines with not one eligible receiver around other than the coaches and players on the sideline.....

If they get the face mask they score. Saints are then down. Drive down and PI, if called, allows Saints to score and win anyway.
Wasn’t anywhere near as egregious as non PI call.

This. If the Saints were down going into that last drive instead of being tied, I think that the play calls would have been different.

The Rams benefitted from calls/no calls throughout the game. The Saints also caught some breaks.
But I don't understand why people can't figure out calls/no calls late in the game matter more. You can overcome a bad refereeing decision with 20 minutes left. You can't do that very easily when there are less than 2 minutes remaining. Calls matter more late, and the Saints lost because of a no call that literally would've all but sealed it.

I’ll trade the 2 face masks for the 2 defensive PI’s, hands to the face on Brees, the free timeout where the Rams were stopped on 3rd down, and the illegal
hit on Josh Hill.
We can play that BS game too.
They can piss and moan but it will never change he undisputed fact that New Orleans was stripped and robbed of a Super Bowl appearance. Hope they enjoy their game before the Rams relocate again

The "facemask" on 2nd & goal was an open hand and incidental contact. No grasp/pull/control of the facemask. This used to be a 5yd penalty, but incidental FM is no longer a foul

Suh got away with a roughing the passer earlier in the game. Drew released the ball a Suh took two more steps to push Brees down. I believe that play ended a drive instead of the Saints getting a first down. But it was earlier in the game so folks are not complaining about that no-call. The timing of the no-calls makes a huge difference.

Meanwhile...Brady gets a flag the second someone touches his chest.

The rule clearly states you must grasp the facemask and pull, twist, etc. It was an open hand that rubbed across Goff's facemask, by definition of the rule it was not a penalty.
On the missed FM on Cooks play they scored a TD anyway I believe.
There is a difference between letting them play and what happened at the end of regulation.

Can we include Littleton's 2 helmet to helmet non calls? One actually knocking one of our TEs out of the game

Brees was hit late multiple times. There were missed calls on both sides sure. And if it was a close pass interference it would be different.
But it wasn’t even close. It was helmet to helmet and a blatant tackle on TLL. We have to do our part and make sure that play lives in infamy. There’s game changing plays decided by refs like this all the time and it has to change. Otherwise, why should fans care when it ultimately isn’t their team or coaches hands?
