Anyone feel that the Saints won’t contend legitimately until 1.) We have a dual-threat QB that has the brains to make reads and run when needed and 2.) CSP’s scheme is no longer the offensive staple of the franchise?

Teams in today’s NFL that are successful have those types of QB’s and no longer use the inundated offense requiring a pocket passer. The teams that still do are a disaster: Saints, Packers, Colts, Bucs, Rams, Broncos (misusing RW skill sets with wanting him to do air raid), Steelers (built personnel around Roethlisberger), etc. Meanwhile, Seattle has had an updated scheme and have Geno at QB flourishing along with the new wave of NFL QB’s: Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Hurts, etc.

So many terrible points in your post, but I’ll just use this easy one and remind you that the last 2 QBs to win the Super Bowl were Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady.
