Obviously a very talented player, and I’d say at times elite left tackle

But the injuries. God damn the injuries. Is it time to take a look at moving him? His contract is hefty, but at 26 years old I’m sure he’d command a decent haul in a trade. Or ride it out with him because you can’t get anyone better? His cap hit is as follows:

2018- $13.5MM
2019- $15MM
2020- $15MM
2021- $12.75MM

What say you?

I've been against moving him for a while, but this year sort of swayed me in the direction of being OK with it. He is an elite player and I honestly prefer Peat at guard, but it really makes it difficult to win when you're in this situation. ESPECIALLY considering that next season we likely won't have 7 starter-worthy OL on the team like we did this year that we can rotate..

On the flip side, at some point his injury luck should come back and we would love to have him for a full 19

21 people on IR.

I just wish we had injury bug vaccine at this point.

If we could trade him maybe, but not cut him.

Releasing him isn’t an option. But the saints are usually among the most aggressive in trade deals.
