Is there any free parking places available in the city tomorrow? Ik on the Metairie side of the dome there used to be some gravel spots under the interstate? Is this still available? Thanks

I’m also going to the game tomorrow and would like to know the answer to this. I am okay with paying for parking as long as its not outrageous. Free parking would be even better even if its a bit of a walk. Thanks!

No parking meters on Sundays - if you can find a spot on a city street, it’s free. Can’t say that your vehicle will be safe.

New Dome visitors, lol.

Say y’all, go to the warehouse district and fricking park. There are spots everywhere if you arrive early.

all around the LSU health science building. Kind of between Poydras and Tulane Ave
Much easier to get out after the game than from the Warehouse District

depends, but yeah, there are tons of good spots. I park in the warehouse district and make sure I am on a street heading towards the interstate, and I am usually in my car, on the interstate, and heading home fairly quickly.

there are tons of great spots, just depends on where you wanna park and what you want around you.

Ingress and egress tips.

I park in the warehouse district and aim at the interstate. If you are going to the west bank, it’s pretty cut and dry. You simply jump on and ride the wave. There’s really no other alternative. If you are going back to NOLA or metry, you can do I-10 but you can also use uptown to get to river road and work your way to causeway that way.

Traffic is what it is, but it’s a matter of working it. If you are going and you don’t have kids waiting on trick or treat, hang out a bit. If you do have those obligations, park closer to Claiborne and hope you get the jump on traffic, or use river road or esplanade (long arse winding way to get on the other side of the traffic) to get to Wisner and thus metry/lakeview/gentility.
