Free agency officially begins at the start of the new league year, which is March 16 at 1 p.m. ET. Agents for pending free-agent players, however, are permitted to negotiate with prospective teams beginning March 14 at noon ET.
Should be interesting days ahead involving Winston, Armstead, Williams and some of the others. A whole new era cranking up for this team.

Agree, likely to lose Williams and Armstead.

Armstead

He gets paid full time stud LT money to be a part time stud LT.

Williams

I think he gets a lot of flack for 2-3 memorable bad plays, but is very solid overall. I just don’t see how we afford him and address other holes unfortunately.

I like Armstead but he’s injured too often for his price tag. I think he walks and we try to fill holes in the line.

The biggest ? to me is FS. Losing Williams would be a huge hit on an aging defense. If he leaves, we have to find someone strong to fill in.

Because we have had all this time to re-sign them and have not. Once they hit the market, the likelihood of retaining them goes down significantly. Obviously, the price Loomis has determined for each is lower than they think they can get on the open market. Their agents certainly have been "studying the market" (i.e. tampering) and have a feel for what they can get. There has been a lot of smoke around Williams and the Eagles.
