No, it would be 2 years/$14.7M if he is cut after his 2nd year. The $18M "guaranteed" figure includes $3.3M in year 3 that is only guaranteed for injury.

I think it's a fair deal after learning about the details of the contract. We're hurting this year and should have plenty of money in the future. It's a good deal if he produces like I think he will.

He seems like a great guy. He responds to fans comments on his Facebook page. Most athletes don't bother to reach out to fans like that. I think it's pretty cool.
