Has anyone seen this? :haha:
On what planet was Quinn on when he made this decision. It’s shows the value of field possession lost after scoring.

How about that time that the Falcons hired Bobby Petrino. Good times. Oh and how about the time that Mike Smith pulled his hammy calling a timeout.

I went to that game against falcons that year. 5 and 0 falcons against 1 and 4 saints. That was the real turning point on the Falcons season. That blocked punt TD happened right in front of me and you just knew they weren't losing the game after that. Nothing went right for them that game

Honorable mention goes to NO@ATL in 2011. Mike smith goes for it on 4th and Inches deep in their own territory in overtime. Handoff to Turner and he gets stuffed. Saints gain some yards and kick an easy FG to win.
The Saints offense was having an off day. There was no reason to go for it, and definitely no reason not to QB sneak.

Worst coaching decision?
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll throwing the ball (Malcom Butler intercepts) at the New England 1. Lost the SUPER BOWL. Dude had "beast mode" in the backfield....think he coulda gained 3 feet?
Just my two pennies.

There can be no worse decision than when all you need to do is kneel to win, and you don't.
Miracle at the Meadowlands.
Mr. McVay made the absolute worst decision you could ever make in coaching.
His grandson Sean also has made some poor decisions. They could have easily run clock to beat us last year and he refused to do so. He had the same choice this year this past Monday and again failed to do so.
Against us they had a large enough lead that it didn't come back to bite him. Against the Chiefs the "MVP" choked the game away for the second straight drive.
In the playoffs he will not be so lucky.
Edit:
Although I do agree a decision to lose the SB or Championship game has much more weight, there is no decision worse than not just taking a knee and the win irregardless of the situation.
The pass in the SB could have gone differently. So many ways that could have played out.
A knee has an extremely high success rate (99.999999999999999%). Maybe there was one time somewhere it didn't work. The SB pass didn't have anywhere near that level of fail rate.

It is considered miraculous because the Giants were ahead and could easily have run out the final seconds; they had the ball and the Eagles had no timeouts left. Everyone watching expected quarterback Joe Pisarcik to take one more snap and kneel with the ball, thus running out the clock and preserving a 17–12 Giants upset. Instead, he botched an attempt to hand off the football to fullback Larry Csonka. Edwards picked up the dropped ball and ran 26 yards for the winning score.

That fake punt that Indy utterly botched against the pats some years ago was REALLY bad

See things like that (which was really bad) or the pass instead of run in the SB come down mostly to execution.
The choice to not kneel is completely on the coach. If they botched the kneel down it'd be different, but that is like finding a white Jamal.
