Surprise surprise.. somebody start digging up where we all called JJ missing games because of all his nagging injuries.

I never said I am going to STOP cheering for the Falcons. I just said it's friggin PAINFUL to cheer for that terrible team. My point was that they have a lot more issues than what I first thought after last season AND even when you look at them on paper (and I just thought y'all would enjoy me have a meltdown). I think it's a serious concern when the opposing coaches make halftime adjustments but the Falcons coaches seem inept or just too stupid to re-adjust. That's a big time issue that NO draft will fix!! Not to mention that it makes no lead safe and makes it nearly impossible to come back from.

As for Julio, the injury has to do with his hamstring not his knee (from what I've heard). Don't see how anyone can call this a "nagging injury" type issue but whatever.

what i have been saying about ryan from the get go...he's a high floor, low ceiling player, but that is good enough to win a title. Instead of trying to have the type of offense the Saints have (which they've clearly been trying to do) they should be a defensive team with solid quarterback play and a good running game

steelers anyone?

dude, 2007...everyone in NOLA was conceding the season, it's realistic to think the falcons year is over when cowherd tricks you into thinking you're a super bowl contender

dude y'all have a good team, you wouldn't have put up that record last year if you didn't. The Falcons problem is that y'all haven't learned to win the "big" games, yet. When you do, you'll win. The Saints even though they had that "lucky" 06 year wasn't ready, that's why we lost bad to Chicago in the NFCCG, that and Chicago having there number 3 straight times in Chicago, I figured we'd spank their arse as soon as they came to NO.

but you guys have to beat the Green Bays when you have a lead on them like you did last nite, go to another good teams homefield and beat them, the Saints have learned to do this, and they do it consistently now. When Ryan plays up to the level Brees is, you know, pissed at losing to a team they shoud have beat, you guys will win, it's not there right now.

for sure but he has a huge audience and every falcon fan was "OMG, cowherd just said"

I can understand how deflating it is after 2007, but frick we started 0-4. If you thought we were going to the playoffs then I need whatever drug you're on...I still watched the games and had just as much passion, but that season was highest of the high to lowest of the low in a matter of 4 weeks,

then we get to 4-4

Hey man. Kudos for sacking up. It's still early. Still think you're the second best team in the South, and will prove it. The lockout may have affected ya'll.
At least you've been to a Super Bowl. Cleveland, Jacksonville, Detroit, and Houston can't say that....
