No. You're in prime field position with two timeouts and almost 40 seconds. They should have at least gotten a FG.

We had great field position. Every coach tries to score there and it isn't even a question. That is all on brees

That's what the Saints do. They had plenty of time to get 25 yards to get into field goal range and two timeouts.

I love the fact that we came out went downfield with the ball. If Devery gets that second foot down we are up by at least 10, maybe 14.

It was the right move. We had two time outs and decent field position. I know it's easy to say we should have just gone in up 7 now but it was the right move

I don't dislike trying to get some points, but why not just throw downfield a few times and if you don't get it you don't get it. You don't have to try anything short.

The problem is Brees checking down for a 5 yard gain. And just think how much he is kicking himself right now.
The biggest problem is that this was momentum for Kaepernick. He just had a very bad interception turn into 7 points for HIS team.
