I just don’t like that he has back issues already. 2 years in a row he showed up on the injury report with a back problem

Fuaga is a prototypical RT.

He graded 53/89 tackles in 2025 per PFF

48/81 in 2024

I know moving guys is a point of contention for many. But would he have more value as an elite guard (guessing here) who could fill in at both tackle spots if someone went down? Some of the best guards are former tackles including guys we had like Carl Nicks and Jahiri.

Draft Fano, Mauigoa, or Freeling. The draft may fall where we just can’t pass on one of these guys.

People will hate it because it’s not sexy but I’m watching the 33rd team mock right now. (Former PFF guys that went out on their own). They mocked Freeling to the Browns also, and noted that tackles always rise

This type of move would help fix our line. It just wasn’t good enough last year

He had an ankle injury 2nd half the season and knee/back the first half from the injury reports

He’s had nagging injuries both years. Which is more of a reason to consider it. Easier to backfill a guard
