Does the Brees injury make Taysom plays less predictable?

Assuming Sean still uses Taysom in this role, do you think it impacts the play calling at all? I feel as if Sean will not want to run him every single time now that he is the primary backup. I could see this resulting in more Taysom passes which could help make those plays a bit less predictable.

Then again, Sean may want to avoid a QB controversy all together and therefore keep that leash on Taysom.

No, it makes him less dangerous. Can't risk him getting hurt.

But couldn't you decrease the risk of injury without decreasing his snap count by incorporating him into more passing plays?

I don't see Sean just taking Taysom out of the gameplan completely because if he wanted to do that, then he wouldn't have played him when Brees went down.

I would expect Taysom to be removed from all special teams this wk. You just can’t afford to get him injured at this point.

It’s the main point I made when everyone debated who should be the #2 QB. Taysom has always been the more valuable player, more important to the team than just being the backup qb. The moment he’s the #2, his health can’t be risked therefore all the other positions besides qb have to be removed from him.
