Unfortantely, we should pull for the Falcons in every NFC game except against us. We aren't going to catch them for the divsion, so it only hurts us if other NFC teams beat them. We should probably pull for them in every game since one of the last wildcard tie-breakers is strength of schedule so we would them to have a high SOS. That is the reality of where we are.

Seriously? I guess, yes, it is metaphysically possible for us to catch them, but come on. If they go 5 - 5 over the last 10 games, the Saints would have to go 9 - 1. If they go 6 - 4 the Saints would have to go 10 - 0. Just trying to be realistic bud.

Atlanta loses to Philly.

We sweep Atlanta.

At that point, if we take care of business, we need for them to lose ONE additional game.

As it stands, if we want to make the playoffs, we need to have the mindset of running the table.

This conversation really shouldn't have to be taking place among REAL sports fans. Sadly, you're bringing this upon all of us.

6-0 teams collapse. Even so, Vikings (checkout their upcoming schedule), eagles and Seahawks are going to lose a lot of games in the second half of the season. Reid is a lame duck with a horrible QB who really thinks he's playing at a high level and the Seahawks cannot score points.

The saints MUST get to 4-4, but 10 wins will get us in.

So frick the falcons, we don't need their help

Realistically they've done that before. And are capable of doing it now.

Tubocuco isn't gonna root for the Falcons.

And he's the anti-bandwagoner.

I think the year that Buddy "D" said that if the Saints go to the super bowl he would wear a dress we started out 6-1 or something like that. Then missed the playoffs. There's still a lot of football left.

And frick the falcons.

Also, "metaphysically"? we aren't talking about philosophy here, you pretentious douche.

No but he did say we wouldn't make the playoffs and at 6-1 people were calling in after every show to bash him.

9-4

With the 3 absolute worst teams on the schedule

Vikings
Bengals
Panthers

We had the falcons steal one from us with 30 seconds left
We also lost to 2 more miserable teams in Cleveland and Detroit.

Basically we whooped every mediocre to awesome team we played and lost to cellar teams

Our D still hasn't recovered from that collapse

ETA: Michael Vick was incredible that year. Ill never see anything like that again.

Are you referring to the new stadium deal? What's the latest on that? I wish ATL would get an outdoor stadium or at least have something like Jerry-world. Could close it for concerts and other rando crap they do on Non-Sundays.

They are going to build a new stadium about a block or two southeast of the dome.
