1.47 Passing TDs per game.. Thats 17th in Passing TDs/game
*So his passing production is slightly below average when you break it up per game. Football games are played individually for those that are unaware. Keep in mind these rankings do not include any rushing production. He basically has zero rushing production to speak of... 40 rushing yards, zero rushing touchdowns.
*If you include rushing production he would be ranked around 30th in QB production per game. For those that are unaware, quarterbacks are allowed to advance the ball and score with rushing as well as passing.
This post has zero opinions in it.

He can run, no doubt about it, he just refuses to do so hed rather throw it away than run is the problem.
Carr once audibled out of a hail mary to a run while behind and the last play of the game.
Hes gutless.

To this point:
Carr - 25 tds in 17 games - 35 mill a year.
Trevor Lawrence - 25 tds in 16 games - 55 mill a year.
I’ll take Carr for 20 million less.
As this board has consistently tried to tell the tards - qbs are getting PAID.
Carr is appropriately paid in the tier of your Geno Smith/Baker middle of the pack tier.
Lawrence/Love - is a bunch of young qb’s getting paid like theyre Pat Mahomes. But they are not obviously. Goff also etc.

I said last year on here plenty times I expected him to be a pro bowl QB here. The offense was terrible though and I don’t know how much better it will get while DA is still the head coach, but I still don’t think Carr is the problem.

David Carr > Derek Carr.
That’s how atrocious he is.
Bookmarked for November.

Why wait till November when we can show your stupidity now..

I’ll be disappointed if this team only wins 8 more games out of 14 left after what we’ve seen so far.

Lmao. This is a real statement? Im not even convinced Carr is the best quarterback on the team
This aged like milk. I always thought Carr was average to above average but he has to have great protection to maximize his game.
I think he’s playing over his head some, but he can keep this up as long as the protection and run game remain.
It’s what I said all Off-season.

Bumping this post for all the smart people that said carr is garbage.
Just like Sean P, Petey C was a product of Brees. Now we have a balanced team in coaching talent/player talent.
Brees would have killed to have this D, but thats the past.

I was thinking the other day about how happy a lot of people would have been if we would have some how got Deshaun Watson instead of David Carr. Crazy how fast things can change
Posted on 9/17/24 at 1:00 pm to Luggahead
Agree. I really wanted Watson. He was a step behind Mahomes in the league and was a consensus top 5 qb.
It’s perplexing what has happened to him after taking that year off.
That said yiu had people a few weeks ago that said Carr was a backup level qb in the league, others saying Winston should have been kept b/c he was better and many others saying Rattler should be starting.
Those posters know who they are. And there were quite a few on here spouting that stupid nonsense…
