To be fair, he got injured in that game and try to play through it before they yanked him. Still I think his natural position is LT.

To be fair, the whole o-line got whipped that game.

Signed Lofton to have him as a backup? Bad move in my book. He's GREAT at stopping the run... swap him out on 3rd and 5+ yards but surely there's no way y'all make him a backup.

Yeah, because the Saints have to do what the guy writing the article says.

Well, obviously not. Assuming that you don't agree with that assessment then either? The Falcons one seemed to have 1-2 positions that were off as well but overall pretty good rundown.

remember that even if Lofton is the #2 MLB, he will be starting the first 4 games most likely

Lofton will not be a backup. With or without Vilma in the lineup

Well when Strief went down vs. the Texans, he came in a did a pretty good job. I'm not sure exactly at what point in the game Strief was hurt but I'm pretty sure Brown was playing in the 4th quarter when the offense exploded for 23 points in the final twelve minutes of the game. I realize he was shaky at times though, like the Rams game you mentioned.
