I’m annoyed about Penning getting benched so I needed to boost my spirits for this shite game today

quote:

Historically, the Saints have feasted on rookie quarterbacks. They have won nine of 11 games against them since Dennis Allen took over as defensive coordinator in 2015 and became head coach a year ago. In those games, they’ve held rookie passers to a collective 73.7 efficiency rating.

This doesn’t include the arse whipping on Bryce Young earlier this year

Go win today

These types of stats are worthless tbh bc each rookie QB is different than the others.

Leaning on games up to 9 years ago against different teams and players is lazy.

I think we have a chance today, but it’s not because of this stat/trend.

looking at Houston's running game numbers and they are pretty low.

I'm confident in the defense just hope that they get home on the rush today and that Stroud doesn't escape the pocket and picks up yards with his feet. That is the most annoying thing in football to me. I mean as far as watching your favorite team while on defense anyway.

Secondary is back at full strength. Have to feel good about that.
