You think they're going to tag Cooper Rush as a first rounder? I seriously doubt they do that. And if they tag him, they'll be on the hook for like $30 mil next season. That would be on top of Dak's $49 mil cap hit for 2023.

Dude was cut twice by Cowboys in recent years. Even they thought he was not worth a backup slot. Give him more time to play before judgements. I’d bet he is exactly what he is; a marginal backup. He might be this generations Matt Cassel too.
