He’s a capable back up QB but nowhere close to a franchise QB and comes with a media circus and distraction. Any smart franchise will want nothing to do with him.
He could work in a very specific offense, which is not what we run here. We don’t do a RPO one read style, which is what he would need to have any success at all. On second thought, though, I think the Panthers should give him a call. They can alienate their fan base, have a massive distraction and lose all of their games. It would be great.

It doesn’t make sense. We have two QB’s who know the offense. I doubt they sign a #3 at all while drew is out.
