ML is for sure a top 5 CB in the NFL. He usually starts slow for the first 3-4 games but is top unbelievable after for rest of the season.

Lattimore probably gets less love and respect from saints fans of any all time great saint. I assume that is just a function of being a CB in today’s passing NFL - your job is impossible and you will get beat.
But Lattimore is the best CB to ever play for the saints and it’s not particularly close. But he is definitely not beloved by saints fans as such.

It’s the season of lists. I saw one that had him # 7, another one had him #2 behind Surtain, and another that had him at #1. I think the guys that cover the NFC, specially the South, and have watched him enough know just how good he is.
And he’s without question the best corner the Saints have ever had, and it's not particularly close. If he’s under appreciated by Saints fans it’s likely due to his attitude. Though I’d argue that’s actually needed for anybody at that position, much less someone of his level.
