Too bad we have the best LB corps in the league.

Also, Ruiz has been a great pick so far. He looked really good yesterday.

I wonder why he didn’t get drafted. I’m just glad we got him.

Terrible measurements and testing at the combine

Surface said he was big, slow and unauthentic with short arms

I saw hip tightness and heavy feet quoted quite a bit in draft profiles. Still thought he would get picked in later rounds.

He looked really good out there yesterday. We might finally have a legit swing man O lineman

Arm length, lateral quickness etc matter more at tackle than at guard. Moving him to the interior seems like it’s paid off

I'm sure you do.

Your "6 games of tape" for Patrick Queen speaks for itself.

Not that it means shite, but "He was also named the fifth-best offensive line prospect for the 2020 NFL Draft by USA Today." per his wiki. Seems like decent value.

This damn Throckmorton:

quote:

» Made 52 consecutive starts (RT – 41, LT – 5, RG – 3, C – 3) to finish his career.
» Allowed just one sack over his final 3,224 snaps (45 games), including 1,602 in pass protection. » Played 3,650 career snaps, including 2,706 at right tackle.
» Only FBS offensive lineman in 2018 to start at four different positions (RT, C, RG, RT).
» Named a second-team All-American as a junior and senio

Man, that's excellent! I don't know how things work out so well for OL and the Saints but I'll take this. The OL was probably the reason we won yesterday.
