But this ongoing narrative that he isnt the problem is NOW wrong.

I think you’re missing what those posters are saying. They aren’t saying Carr isn’t a problem, just that he’s not “THE” problem. There are only a few QBs that would have any success with this roster, and that success would be limited. Injury issues across the board for multiple years, no depth, starters that would be backups & PS players on other teams, issues with coaching staff/front office…

QB is the most important position. You have to have one. Either a young one playing well (Daniels/RWilson with Seattle playing early) for cheap or a proven vet worth the money (ie not Trevor Lawrence).

We have neither.

We have an aging Carr, who if healthy (likely not) could strike lighting in a bottle before he gets too old.

And we have Haener/Rattler - trash.

If we can trade for JJ Mcarthy or Sanders/Ward test well then we should go for it.

this year his injuries basically killed the season.

Not just him.

Kamara, Taysom, Olave, the O line.

Check our record without Carr.

Losing Carr destroyed us.

We def need a new plan other than an older qb who likely wont make it through 17 games.

Told u he only plays with a stacked deck. Scared. Let Ratter run for his life.

Yes.

I'd rather the team the team eat the cap and let Carr walk.

I thought the idea of bringing him anyway was to be a bridge QB. But he's an injury liability. So, it doesn't make sense.

Plus, I don't think he ever really embraced being the franchise QB here much like the enthusiasm level around among fans here the last 3 seasons.

Mickey is the problem. A close-minded a-hole unwilling to pivot and try a different way.

He has def become an injury liability and is def not the future at this point.

Knocked out of 3 games last season (played one hurt against the bucs), and only played in 10 games this season.

Two injured seasons in a row usually ends the starting careers of older qb’s.

We def need to look for the future.
