Carr has never played with a defense ranked better than 20th in points per game allowed

this won't work if we keep having guys get hurt at key positions.

especially now that Payton is gone.

just have to handle the adversity of that better because it's going to happen.

I think that was on display last year going 7-10 considering the injuries.

but the year before that when the Saints started 4 different QB's and constantly were starting different lineups on the O-line. Finished 9-8 but that was with Payton.

This isn't a crap on Derek Carr thing, it's a Doofus Allen thing. The pressure is now on Allen and he's betting on Derek Carr pretty much.

We've still got a good defense and I say build on that during the draft just as much as the offense. Sometimes building on the stronger side of the ball isn't a bad thing.
