end of the 1st half, fresh set of downs i believe on their side of the field with 3 timeouts left. we pick up a second first down pushing it close to the 35-40 yd line and dont use a timeout. you are not allowed to take those timeouts into the next half. call one and script 2-3 plays that put us in best position to get the ball inside the 10-15yd line.

instead we jump (call first timeout to negate 10 sec runoff)

1 & 15 bad throw by carr

throw the next ball away because Carr is a pussy.

then intentional grounding to almost push ourself out of fg range.

we then run into the Lockeroom with 2 timeouts in our pocket never finding out if they couldve been useful????

No! If Carr had an elite offensive line and an elite coordinator and elite weapons and an elite defense he would finally be an above average QB. It’s all Carmichael’s fault!!!!

Everything wrong with our offense is Carmichael. Not sure how anyone can debate that. Carr isn't elite, but he is good enough and has plenty of weapons all around him to be better than this. The scheme is 100% of the problem.

Carr in theory should fit this offense perfectly. He can manage a game and get the ball to playmakers.

The problem is our sad arse offense is so predictable and plain it’s asking carr to make throws prime Brees would have trouble with. Now combine that with 0 protection and carr has to play a perfect game.

In short, we’re asking way too much of Carr and need him to be something he’s not capable of. That falls squarely on Carmichael and Allen.

Carr still isn't on the same page with some of the receivers. Don't know who's at fault there.

1000% this. The guys on the other side are phenomenal athletes. Good offense in the NFL is creating confusion and mismatches with motion, rubs, etc. Saints literally do none of that.

Do you think it's hard for an NFL cornerback to cover 4.7 40 Michael Thomas against the boundary on a 30 yard fade? It's not. But we did it twice in the last 4 plays...with a timeout in the back pocket.
