dude the cardinals were pretty horrendous last year

Most of you on here seem to forget they beat us last year.

It was an early warning that we were not the 2009 Saints.

We would get embarrassed in the playoffs by the Seahawks.

At least we are tied for 1st place in our division.

yeah Cam looked good I'll admit. As bad as our defense looked last week Gregg Williams has a perfect record with Rookie QB's. Our exoctic blitzes may not be that effective against a qb like Rogers and there great offense, but it would surely be able to confuse a rookie right??? but I will say our tackling troubles we be a nightmare trying to bring Newton down.

realistically though, there is no way the Panthers offense could keep up with us in a shoot out. Cam would make too many mistakes if he had to score on every possesion to keep up with us.

even though it wasn't their offenses that beat us, we did lose to Max Hall and Colt McCoy last year

I don't think any of us can say we expected Cam to have the game that he did even if it was against the cardinals D

Steve Smith looks rejuvenated, I wish that he would have left Carolina.

Arizona had a bottom 3rd passing defense last season and very nearly bottom quarter (23/32 teams). That was with a very good CB in RDC and decent corner in McFadden.

They lost both and started a 2nd year bad corner, and a rookie stud that is learning the game. Their passing defense is horrendous.

Cam definitely shocked people, but both his TDs came on blown/bad coverages and the third drive where they scored he threw horrible passes that the WRs/TEs made exceptional grabs on.

He also had 2 bad INTs (one overturned by a bogus call) and a 3rd should've been INT that was dropped.

He's going to be a solid QB, but people are making some quantum leaps based on that game.
