I argued this point a few months ago. The responce was that "Black Qb's are not given the same chances, and they there are fewer of them. Thus you cannot look at history because white QB's dominate the history because of the racist enviroment."

You have a point, but I don't think Cam is going to be the type of player to make a boneheaded play at the end and lose the game all of the time. He's a winner, it's what he does. He's already putting the Panthers on his back, it's just too heavy of a load for a rookie qb.

RGIII I think can be a good NFL Qb if he gets into a system and they take it slow with him. I wouldn't draft him and play him like Carolina did with Cam. I'd do more of like what Tennessee is doing with Locker.

a few years under a rogers/brees/brady/p. manning would do him WONDERS.
backing up alex smith/flacco/tavaris would cripple him.
this is all imo

Therefore he will not consistently make great decisions to win games whenn they are on the line.
this is just stupid. Just because past white QB's have failed doesn't mean he will. He just led his team with arguably the most dominant season ever in college football. He sure was clutch against Bama with the national title on the line and with that last drive against Oregon to win it. His career shows that he will be clutch IMO.
Correlation does not imply causation. Terry Bradshaw showed everyone that a retard can win Super Bowls

doesn't really come across as unintelligent in interviews.
He scored a 25 on the wonderlic. Drew Brees and Peyton Manning scored 28's. Favre a 22
Cam scored a 21 on the wonderlic.
McNabb scored a 15, Garrard a 14, Vince Young a 15, Campbell a 23. Josh Freeman has a 27

I understand your arguement, but everyone here with half a brain knows that success in college doesnt translate to success in the pros.
He admittedly ran an extremely vanilla offense at Auburn which allowed him to soley rely on his natural instincts and ability to make plays.
There were not enough athletes on the opposing defenses which could make stop his physical prowess.
NFL is a different ball game. One that requires a very high football intelligence. This is still up to debate as to Cam's football IQ.

You just showed your ignorance here.
He was far from a retard.
Not to mention the game was VASTLY different
in the 70's and 80's
I know it sounds really bad to say what i said, but until i am proven wrong, i stand by my comments.

Great post.
Look at the young Josh Freeman.
I have always been impressed with his decisions on 4th quarter drives when the game is on the line.
Cam's score is better than i would have guessed.
He is a bright kid, but it seems as though Auburn did not prepare him for the mental marathon that
an NFL season puts on a QB.

Dear Christ there is so much ignorance and selective memory stuffed into one sentence.
That said, I'm 110% with you in thinking that race has nothing to do with it.

He has a terrible TD/INT ratio. Agreed?
How is 5/5 a "terrible" TD/INT ratio? He's still a rookie and most rookies routinely have MUCH worse TD/INT ratios than that their first year.
Hell, Peyton Manning threw 28 INT's his rookie year. And also with Cam, he has 4 rushing TD's, which have to count for something here. His passing TD/INT ratio may be 5/5, but his total TD/INT ratio is 9/5.

Go back and read my posts. All of them.
1/1 TD/INT is terrible. Whether it's Manning, Brady, Brees, Cam, or Bradshaw. It just is what it is.
I was the first one in this thread to bring up his running ability. It is truly what separates him from others.
Again (and finally), I'm really only pointing out that you seem a bit foolish by coming to this forum with a "highlight reel" of a guy who hasn't really done anything in the NFL.
Should you be excited about his future? Yes. Is he smack talk worthy yet? No.
If my team were 1-3, decimated by injuries, with no chance of making the playoffs...I'd be right there with you.

Cool. What is his TD/INT ratio? Y'know..since that's what we were discussing.
