because beating Seattle was automatic too right?
Come on man..you should know better than to post something like that. Nothing is automatic. If it was automatic, they wouldn't even play the game to begin with. Just let all the media experts "choose" who would win the superbowl and call it a day.

I would rather take out Green Bay there to just see what the media meltdown would be like.

This is simple. Who has the beter chance to beat GB?
easy answer is NY. That keeps us from going to Lambeau in Jan.

This thread is full of scared Saints fans. How can you be called "the best" if you aren't playing the best? Obviously the two best teams in the NFC are New Orleans and Green Bay. Quit hoping for an upset, and PROVE you belong.
Sorry I'd rather have another huge nfc championship game in nola, bringing money, energy, and pride tothe city along with it.
It would also be another oppurtunity for me to see another saints playoff game and possibly the saints carve their way to the superbowl. Did I mention it would have a substantial economic impact on my city?
Oh wait, no you're right, they should just hope to go to GB where they would be able to prove themselves to some dope on a message board. Yeah.
Saints don't have anything to prove to real fans of football.

and that's how it should be. Don't shy away from competition. Take revenge on them and beat them at their stadium. Like the wise man Ric Flair said:
"To be the man, you gotta beat the man. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

last time I checked nobody is trying to move up in the polls here...shite green bay was 3 points or so from not even making the playoffs last year...yet they were considered the best at the end of the season
