Sherman and Lynch said he was inaccessible to them and this caused an issue. Wilson has never been liked, but winning made it less of an issue in Seattle.
But anyway, the only way, only possible way Wilson can be traded is if he converts all his guaranteed money to non-guaranteed.
Unless the league rules have changed, on a trade or cut, all remaining prorated guaranteed money is converted to a cap hit for that season. I don't know if guaranteed money can even be converted (the opposite can happen).

wondered that myself and as much as I hate the league office they are not dumb. Im guessing they would see this as an attempt to trade players for a coach and void it.
Or they'd come back and punish both teams. I remember a while back maybe 15 years back, the 49ers would be in talks for a player at the trade deadline, the trade would "fall apart" and then magically they'd sign the same guy on the first day of FA to a mega contract. The league punished them for tampering with Lance Briggs even though he never ended up leaving Chicago and it clearly didn't violate the leagues tampering rules.

The value in return does not have to be only next year. Indeed you are more likely to get more if you stretch it out.

If that’s the case then trade to Denver and get future picks as well as Miami’s first rounder and keep DA for another year to improve 2024 picks.

Gruden cost 2 firsts and 2 seconds. That’s where the price should start. Broncos have only a bad #1 to give, so this doesn’t look good.
