bro have you been under a rock the past few days? Heck, on this board alone there are multiple posts talking about people selling their tickets, skipping the season, Drew should retire, etc. If you think it's just gonna go away, you're fooling yourself. Everybody's eyes will be on Drew Brees that first game to see what he does. My bet is that he kneels.

This is not the feeling I am getting. It seems like the people that matter are actually going to respect him more in the long run.
It's easy to be wrapped up like many Saints fans are initially, but this will resolve and get better IMO. Especially come football time.
As far as ticket sales go, I'm not sure how stadium capacity will even go ATM.. but TV ratings will still be through the roof for any team sports.. especially after not having any for so long..
People are so quick to overreact..

Exactly, we are in the month of June, the season starts aug/sept. Why just why are people going to hold on to this. What is the the purpose of getting mad in September about something that happened in June. And If more people were under a rock and not watching the news I think a lot more people would be happy

I would argue the opposite. His name is being tarnished. Why would he retire that way? His only option is to come out and kick arse for another year and shut everyone up to cement his legacy as the GOAT. If anything this might motivate him to come back for one more.
