yeah giving up 500 yards and 8 td's for a 104 reception WR and 1,200 yards in 15 games is stoopid
what did Marino post the year after his Record yardage year....900 yards less.
Buy Low, $ell High...why do so many fail to understand this

Okay geniuses...who hit WRs more times last year?
Drew in his record Year, or Cutler in his Growth stage?
"OMG Drew is the bomb, what a great dump-off pass"
now add a much needed all-pro WR...and it's a landslide in our favor.

You are correct...STUPID. Reasons:
1) QB is the most important position in football, and you are suggesting giving away arguably the best in football right now for a WR.
2) How would this trade improve the #1 offense?
3) You'd have to get a new QB acclimated to a system that he just isn't fit for at all. Brees is the perfect fit for Payton's system.
4) We have a log jam at WR. If Arrington plays up to potential, we go 5 deep at the position. Why would you need another one?
5) There is a thing in the NFL called a salary cap. The cap penalties would kill us...meaning we'd have a large percentage of the cap tied up in penalties, not being able to spend it on players.
Those are the rational reasons why this wouldn't work, but it's so much easier to say "you're stupid."

Your a fricking moron. Cutler in his growth stage?? He may never grow out of that stage. Sorry to break it to you but that dudes overrated. He will be run out of Denver in the next 2 years. Brees is one of the most accurate qb's to play the game and doesnt need a prick receiver like Marshall. He will make any one look good b/c he puts it in the fricking numbers. Now go jerk off to your Cutler fathead

quote:Now I know you're just being stupid and flaming. Brees is perhaps the best downfield passer in the game right now. He makes every throw. The offense is designed for passes of all lengths, and he makes them all. He makes his receivers into playmakers/gamebreakers.
"OMG Drew is the bomb, what a great dump-off pass"
Put down the crack and stop fricking around.

I thought the day would never come. The most productive nfl QB and you want him gone. There are infinite reasons why we keep him. Like the other guy said it is a lot easier to just call you stupid.

wasn't my intent. I thought i'd have a bit of support. Marshall is a beast and Cutler IMO is more than a legit QB. Salaries of 8 vs 10, not sure about the cap charge.
I don't think that this scenario is as Appauling as has been stated...so I poked a bit.

Denver would be more than happy to get rid of both of these trouble makers.
And why in the hell would the Saints want to bring in these trouble makers ?

Brandon Marshall is the next TO. If ESPN gave a frick about him or the Broncos he would've already imploded that whole team ala TO.
And Cutler is an overrated, fat crybaby.

Dumbass, Drew Brees is a beast. Brees will finish his career on a high level with the Saints. I don't want some loser who could collapse anytime on the fiedd because the guy has diabetes. Last thing we need is to finally make the Super Bowl and lose it at the 1 yard line because Cutler died on the snap.

Okay, currently the "best QB today". I'm thinking that ya'll are referring to last year.
Great season +5000 yards and 34 TD's...phenomenal!!
what happened to the other Best QB's the year after they posted record years?
Dan Marino
1984 Miami
5,084 yards and 48 TD's
1985
4,137 yards and 30 TD's
drop off of 19% yards and 35% TD's
Peyton Manning
2004
4557 yards and 49 TD's
2005
3747 yards and 28 TD's
drop off of 18% yards and 42% TD's
Tom Brady
we all know what happened last year...Nothing
Joe Montana
1990 hit his all time career high with 3,944 yards, Injured and didn't play 1991
John Elway
1993 hit his career high 4,030 yards and 25 TD's
1992 3490 yards and 16 TD's
drop of 13% yards and 36% TD's
Kurt Warner
1999
4353 and 41 td's (would you trade him?)
2000
3429 and 21 td's (now would you trade him?)
okay let's say you didn't
Kurt Warner Again
2001
4830 and 36 TD's (trade him?)
2002
1431 and 3 TD's (how about now?)
the year after is very, very bad...sorry for the bad news.
+5000 yards and 34 TD'
down 15% and down 25%
4,250 and 25 Td's (good..real good....if we're lucky)
