As much as I agree with Drew as a fan, he's starting to get annoying with all these quotes.

Yeah, I wish he hadn't said that.

But he WAS just answering a question put to him.
It's not like he randomly tweeted this out of the blue.

That is true. This will play very, very well in the locker room though.

You can just tell he's a leader of men.

Doug Gotlieb on ESPN radio just said that "Drew Brees does not speak for all NFL players and that's just what he's doing.. b/c he's hurt."

Well, Petey, Anthony Hargrove was proven innocent of the "give me my money" quote, Roger Goodell admitted Hargrove was right, but his suspension still stands because apparently he has "other" evidence that Hargrove is guilty that Hargrove can't refute because he is not allowed to see it.

Tell. Me, what's the use of talking to him if they are guilty of things that they can't even see?

Yea it's stuff like this that really grinds my gears. It's such an injustice and it feels like no one can see it.

staven4life (signed in using yahoo) I am so sick of Drew Brees. I used to have a lot of respect for this guy, but during the offseason when your team needs you the most you don't show up for any of the OTAs or voluntary camps because you are to busy wanting more money? Come on man, the Saints were going to give you your money that was never in question, but to not show up and be THE leader for your team when they needed you the most is pretty crappy. Then to come back and just start running your mouth about your bosses boss? It's just sad. You were the "savior of New Orleans", only to become to focused on your self. Way to let one of your old fans down yet again.

why do we have fans that are this stupid???

At this stage of the game the NFL is sufffering credibility in a big way. IF they really had so-called legit evidence it would be on the table by now.

I got into it wiht a mgr. at work today about the Bounty situation. He thinks evidence is there but couldn't point out anything valid. He still believes the Saints are guilty. I told him 11 players and coaches swore under oath there was NO pay for injury program - his response, "So!" Gee, I wonder if Roger would swear under oath that he isn't lying? Perjury carries a pretty stiff penalty.
Too legit to quit
