I cannot understand what in the hell is going on with him. I got the slow start between the suspension/injury but man there still seems to be some disconnect there...I can’t tell if it’s him or he’s just so deep in the dog house there’s no emphasis on getting him involved.

If Snead can somehow find his old self I think it puts this offense over the top.

He's still had some pretty clutch 3rd down conversions here and there. Obviously not the 1k yard season were used to but I think he'll get there.

Honestly, I think was one of the worst seasons he could have missed games do start the season for because this is basically a completely different offense than we've been running since he's been here. We're so much more run oriented now it's got to at least be somewhat different for him getting accustomed.

He looks lost sometimes

On the last Kamara play where he lands on his head, Snead missed a huge block that would have gotten Kamara in the endzone. I watched it going wtf is he doing

I still think the issue is not with Snead it is with our offense.

Just saying that so many of our plays Brees has a pre-snap read. Very few plays are designed for Snead.

When you think about 95% of the Saints throws Brees knows he has a screen to Kamara
he has a slant to Thomas
He is throwing down a sideline to Thomas
He has Ginn in a favorable position to drag a defender across the middle.

The one big catch to Snead today, Brees checked into a play bring Snead closer to the OL getting him set on the ILB and then beat the guy to the outside hole in the zone.

This is similar to Fleener, Hill or HooMan. I just believe these guys are not the target, but often the checkdown or safety valve if the play is still alive.

You saw what happened in the Redskins game when Brees decided to target Fleener.

Aikman mentioned that Snead put on weight during the suspension/injury and that it’s taken him some time to get back in shape.
