tough call this early, usually some unforseen challenges for Super Bowl champions......a little less success then expected is likely, i'll say 10-6, having some key injuries early, with our team getting strong in time for the playoffs

Pretty bold prediction. One injury to Brees and your season is finished.

I haven't put money down on that number...yet.

12-4 at the worst IMO. Somethin about that Vikes game to open the season has got me a little on edge. The Vikings will be trying to decapitate Brees, as they want some MAJOR payback. I want to wait until Favre decides, AND to see just how hungry we are after winning it all last year.

Luckily we get Big Ben, if he is still a Steeler, on his first week back, and he won't be up to "game-speed", so I'm not too worried about that. The Cowgirls game is another one I will have to touch-up my prediction on later. I need to see how our safeties play against the deep routes that the girls like to run.

Baltimore, outdoors, sub-20's, with snow is NOT our strongest area, and that defense is still sick-nasty and used to the cold, so I'll have to give the edge to the Ravens. And ATL always plays us good at their place, so I think the sneak on from us.

Other than that, our schedule is extremely manageable and we should be able to put together another run in the playoffs! Get ready Who Dat's, the target is now on OUR backs, so its time to dodge some bullets!

A large factor in that game was the ref crew. They were one of the loosest "let'em play", if not the most, in the NFL last year. It seems like it was single digit roughing the passer for the entire year. I think the Saints were on that and played accordingly.

It would be poetic if in the rematch they get one of the tightest calling crews. Saints then have several drives sustained or moves into the red zone from roughing calls.

Kinda dumb for them to voice that stuff publicly. Don't think the refs don't review the potential scenarios.

underfeated and a dynasty is born back to back superbowls and all records smash this year. Madden curse gets broken in the biggest way yet. Saints versus Redskins championship game. Saints versus Jets superbowl.
