He’s definitely better compared to Darnold. Darnold is complete trash while Mayfield showed some potential 2 out of his 3 first seasons

Robby retired rather than play with Baker
He is going to be playing with a stud RB that never sees the field
And his coach is Matt Rhule.
All this to be the 3rd best team in the division. Lucky for them ATL may have the worst roster in the league

otherwise i dont get this, if baker refused to play this year they should have waited for a team to lose a QB and then get a better deal, its not like they could get much of a worse deal
so now who is the browns starting QB this year? the backup RB or the punter?

Think they will just roll with Brissett.
Not saying it is or isnt the right choice but the whole Cleveland/Baker thing is so beyond repair it almost does no good for him to be anywhere near the team.

Browns screwed up with both QB's. Watson with the guaranteed contract when anyone could have told you he was going to face at least a year long suspension, and they essentially were shoving Baker out the door and made sure there was no way he'd consider coming back.
