Hotel

Do you want to be close to the beach, the stadium/airport, or bars?

NFL ticket exchange or ticketmaster. Tampa doesn't sell out

plane packages?

southwest is usually pretty cheap flying into Tampa but you waited too long to get super cheap flights

I want be near the Yhor district or next to the Stadium

Looks like roughly $171 to sit on first level saints side (Seatgeek)

Still pondering driving there, but looks like i can get a round trip around $100 ish

I took off the Friday before and Monday after. If it saves enough money I would do it

That drive is terrible... I’ve done it before.

The difference you would pay for flying vs gas is only maybe $100-$150 well worth the time saved... 9 hrs driving vs 1.5 flying..

for $100 RT I'd fly to Orange Beach for a vacation, absolutely fly instead of drive for that price

Not a terrible drive at all. It is a straight shot. I have done it numerous times. However, it is not too difficult to find a nonstop flight for a reasonable price from NOLA to Tampa. Take into account the cost of a rental or uber though.

You're spending $150 minimum on fuel. I'd rather sit on a plane and not worry about anything.

Your hotel parking vs Uber is a wash

Made the drive from Baton Rouge for the game two years ago, do not do it.

Also HatTricks should be one of the places you eat. Great sports bar with good wings, and I am not a big wing person.

Like someone said, they don’t sell out. Not even close. Buy on Ticketmaster. Just bought 6 together and there was tons of options. Cheaper than any of the secondary market sites right now.

I’ll be following for things to do around the stadium, if anything. Never been to the area.

I’m probably going.

I’m going to book everything last minute.

I’ll probably drive instead of flying there.

Getting tickets last minute is the best way to get a great deal.

Take the flight baw and drink natty light instead of Stella or the craft beers.

Flying is going to save you so much time and energy.

Just booked my flight on points so my travel expenses come up to $11 and what ever my ubers cost. Gonna be a long day though leaving NOLA at 5:20 A.M. and fly back that night at 830ish.

Gonna be looking for some other to tailgate with out there in Tampa. What tunnel do the Saints come out of in Tampa?

For those going or for those that have been before, anything worth doing before or after the game around the stadium? Staying in St Petersburg so this will probably be the only time I'll be across the bay during the trip so if there's anything cool, I definitely want to check it out while I'm over there.
