Arthur Smith violated the “unwritten rules” by having a backup QB out there slinging it down the field with less than 2 minutes to play and no way the Falcons could win instead of running the clock out like he should have. At that point it was game on. DA did exactly what he should have.

DA just said in the press conference that it was all on the players, they wanted to get Williams a TD and Smith had a right to be pissed.

I do much rather cocky/confident DA. He still did SOME conservative things today…….but he put the pedal down MUCH more today! That’s what he should have been doing all damn year

So, Jameis and the players want to get the TD, ask to do so, and Allen vetos it and tells them victory formation. Jameis then calls a running play and the Saints score. Ok, that's bad enough, but THEN Allen gets up in front of the media, throws the players under the bus, basically admitting he has lost this team and they don't give a single frick what he wants.
Oh, and if this is indeed all true, we need to build the Jameis statue IMMEDIATLY.
