He’s one of the Top 5 QBs in the NFC South this season.

I am fairly certain of it.

Pff has him rated at 83.1 this season. He's one of our best players according to them.

To me thats more indicative on how bad our team is than how good Carr is.

It's a pretty good score. Here's some reference...

Lamar Jackson 92.5
Joe burrow 90.3
Mahomes 83.4

Division...
Baker 76.7
Cousins 76.1
Young 53.8

Serious question: Do you actually believe Carr currently is a better QB than any of those guys other than Bryce Young? Answer honestly.

I think he's just as good (or better) than baker and cousins...

PFF...
Carr 83.1
Baker 76.7
Cousins 76.1

QBR...
Carr 61.3
Cousins 57.9
Baker 55.9

Passer rating...
Baker 103.6
Carr 102.9
Cousins 98.9

Carr has been good this season.

I can’t take you seriously if you actually believe this. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this is just not true in so many ways. Sometimes numbers lie. You just need to watch the games. There is no way you watch all 3 of their game tapes this season and believe Carr has been as good or better than Baker or Cousins. If you put Saints coaches under a lie detector- they would tell you this isn’t true.

QBR and passer rating are the best metrics to judge qb play, but hey, maybe they should really just call you for the eye test.

ETA... with the saints and falcons playing at the same time almost every Sunday, it would be hard to watch both. In the 2 matchups vs each other, Carr had better stats in both although both were horrible game 1.

They can call anybody who watches the NFL to see Carr is not as good as those guys. I can’t believe you’ve seen this guy play and think those analytics provide a fair assessment that hes as good or better than Baker and/or Cousins.

The guy just last game got grounding on a throw away ball when pressured. The week before againt the Panthers on a fourth and 5 for the game- he tossed a contested deep ball instead of throwing to Juwan who was open for the conversion. I agree Carr may be the best QB we have but to seriously argue he may be better than Baker or Cousins- I mean come on man. The guy can’t handle pressure and his only accurate passes are the few times he throws deep. Otherwise he’s consistently off on his most his throws, and can’t handle any degree of pressure. But yeah rely upon stats to think Carr is good- ask the Raiders how that worked out for them?

You calling out Carr getting an intentional grounding when cousins threw an int and fumbled the last 2 drives is rich.

Im not gonna go through all the shite Carr has done this season to prove to you hes worse than Cousins or Baker. Those are just examples. Again if you believe Carr is better- good for you but a majority of this fan base and NFL fans don’t believe that at all.

But stand tall on those stats that Carr is a good quarterback. Again the Raiders did this for years. Even local media would not admit Carr being better or as good as Baker or Cousins. This is just a bad take.

Carr has had 2 full seasons with a passer rating over 100 (2019 and 2020). He's currently at 102.9, but he hasn't played all the games. I didn't say he was better than either for their careers, just this season so far. Not sure why you have such distaste for a player that you feel you can't give credit where it's due.

I was talking about this season. Hes not better than them this season. No NFL fan or media person thinks this despite what analytics may say.

Saying hes not better than Cousins or Baker does not mean I have distaste for him. Its just what I and majority of people believe.

What exactly do you want me to give him credit for? That hes been injured and in the few games hes played this season he has a slight analytical edge over Baker and Cousins who have played more games effectively and won more games than him this season? I’m sorry I don’t hand out participation trophies to professional QBs.

Yes! Completely agree with those analytics. Especially since there only 4 starting quarterbacks in the NFC South!

I can't believe that no one has replied to the wit and sarcasm displayed in the your post.
