So you brought Reggie bush up sarcastically (i.e., "Reggie Bush / thread"), then tried to call ME out for turning this into a Reggie Bush thread

No. I was fricking with you with ONE post. I called you out after two pages of your typical bush rhetoric. You're a joke.

You need Eric Martin and Dalton Hilliard on this list.

Dalton may be the most overrated Saint ever.

You must be "slow". You're not making any sense. Yeah, I called you out for running yet another thread into the ground for three pages. You cannot come over here without beating the bush argument into the ground. It wouldn't matter if the thread were about Jason David, you could turn it into a bush suckfest.

Blinders. Remind me again which Bush hater wrote "Reggie Bush / thread" before anything took off and admitted it was to fu** with me. I'll give you a clue. His name is whodat something.

Shortly thereafter Reggie chaos ensued.

I'm sure your opinion has nothing to do with the fact that he went to LSU

Dalton is third all-time in rushing yards for the Saints. He's tied for 1st for rushing TDs scored in a single season, and he's 2nd all-time in TDs scored by a Saint's RB.

It has absolutely nothing to do with his collegiate affiliation.

I actually like Dalton. But for his career, he only averaged 3.7 yards per carry, hitting or going over 4 ypc twice in seven years. His 1989 season was brilliant, but other than that, he really wasn't that great.

If you look at his numbers on a per game or per carry basis, it's not as strong an argument. Plus, you have to take the era in which he played into account.

It is true that most people think he was greater than he actually was, but there is no denying the fact that he is in the top two or three best RBs the Saints have ever had. PERIOD.

Bruce Clark

Great job pulling this name up. However, he was mainly a DE, and I don't think he could be placed higher than Joe Johnson or Will Smith. He only played six seasons with the Saints, but accrued 39.5 sacks in that time frame. Both Smith and Johnson have played for 7 seasons, with 55 and 50.5 sacks respectively.

QB - Brees
RB - Deuce
RB - Hilliard
FB - Ironhead Heyward
OT - Willie Roaf
OL - Jim Dombowski
C - Joel Hilgenberg
OL - Jahri Evans
OT - Stan Brock
TE - Hoby Brenner (HM J. Shockey)
WR - Joe Horn
WR - Eric Martin
WR - Marcus Colston

DE - Joe Johnson
DT - Wayne Martin
DE - LaRoi Glover
LB - Pat Swilling
LB - Ricky Jackson
LB - Sam Mills
LB - Vaughn Johnson
CB - Jabari Greer/Dave Waymer
CB - Tracy Porter/Mike McKenzie
S - Sammy Knight
S - Darren Sharper

K - Morten Anderson
P - Tommy Barnhardt
PR - Tyrone Hughes
KR - Michael Lewis
ST - Fred McAfee

The Cornerbacks are all a toss up. I could see an argument for any of them.

Anyone think Mark Fields should be traded for Vaughn Johnson? I don't, but maybe Fields gets an HM.

So he averaged a first down every three carries.
This seems like a pretty good stat to me.

The wide-open Carl Smith offense with a Bobby Hebert passing attack. Makes it more impressive IMO.

I'm not saying Dalton is a hall of famer, but he's in the top 3 for all-time Saints RB's.
