Thanks for letting us all know that you know nothing about football.

Chug your beer and get another one ready because it's going to be a long season.

If it's in week 13 I'm good.

nothing to do with race

If you have to say this out loud, it’s most probably 100% about race

This is the biggest problem. If he were the TB Winston where he's throwing for 5000 yards while still throwing picks, that is one thing. But here's his stats in the first three quarters of these two games:

26/42 for 151 yards, no TDs, no picks.

3.6 yards per attempt.
Longest pass: 13 yards.

4th quarter? 22/32 for 354 yards, 3 TDs, 3 picks. That is TB Winston.

He was making passes that were threading the needle.. I just said to myself "he is going to throw another interception"... He just got stupidly desperate...

Your insightfullness is awesome! Your attention to detail is overwhelming! Thanks, Captain Obvious!

My point is this is a dumb discussion to have right now. We are not going to bench Winston after one more INT. He gives us the best chance to win. No question about it. One game with 3 INTs this early into the season doesn't change that. There's your insight

He has looked pretty bad, and we have an elite defense. With a potentially very serviceable backup, I am not at all sure he gives us the best chance to win.

Plus he’s obviously hurt.

Meh. Don’t squeeze that trigger unless we lose to the Panthers. But drop one to Baker’s rejects and I’d say everything is on the table.

Everybody knows he will not throw 2 touchdowns so that’s a silly comment. If we are not moving the ball after one quarter it’s time to make a change!!!

Not my conversation but

quote:

tell you what I'd do after Winston throws his first interception...I'd bench him and put Andy Dalton behind center!

Damn, drew brees would have never stood a chance with you, would he?

Through first 2 games in 2006 Brees (first season with Saints, his start in 07 was actually much worse)

my favorite part of this board is when they try to compare Winston to a future HOF quarterback.

If that's the case....there's a frick load of future HOF quarterbacks riding the bench for other teams.

I'll go ahead and fix my other favorite part about your post..

quote:

Through first 2 games in 2006 Brees (first season with Saints after having to relearn how to throw a football

Game 1 16/30 53.33% 170 yards 1 TD 1 Int 0 FL
Game 2 26/41 63.41% 353 yards 2 TD 1 Int 2 FL

Jameis this season(His third season with the Saints

Game 1 23/34 67.65% 269 yards 2 TD 0 Int 0 FL
Game 2 25/40 62.50 % 236 Yards 1 TD 3 Int 0 FL

Also you completely ignoring that this team is LOADED compared to Drew's first two seasons.
