So according to you, suckfest=/=playing horrible? How is that different? I never implied you thought he was horrible. I but you made it clear that he has been horrible recently. Which is stupid because he's the only reason we've kept the games close.

Bear Is Dead Dictionary:
Suckfest- continuous slurping on the genitals of another until locking of the jaw

Playing horrible- performing poorly

Thats the difference. I know Brees is awesome, but how is it blasphemy to doubt anything he does? No flame, just trying to clarify my statement. The team is 0-4, Brees is responsible just like the other players are. Thats the way football works. Unitas' record wont get the Saints into the playoffs.

I honestly think you're high. With Atlanta beating arse (which makes me wants to jump in front of a bus), no way the Saints make the playoffs.

I'm dubious.

Where were you in the offseason with all those threads that discussed whether Brees was ruining the franchise?

Believe it or not, this topic has been discussed ad nauseum.
The regular posters have come to the conclusion that it's probably more likely that losing the HC AND the interim HC have more to do with our current record than Brees' contract.

Where was I? Just because you dont recognize my handle on here doesnt mean I didnt have these feelings beforehand. And I definitely dont think Brees has ruined the franchise by any stretch of the imagination. Nor did I ever say that.

My current concerns have no connection with the Brees contract. Thats over and done with. I just dont understand how posters can be bashed on here if you dont swallow Brees' cum.

I'm not predicting playoffs but if ya cannot see the possibility then your NFL history knowledge is pretty weak. It's the beauty of parity, anyone close has a chance.

Ad nauseum but remember last year...

Giants beat by Saints 49-24. The next week they lose their 4th in a row to the Packers. Two weeks later they lose to Washington 10-23 and are 7-7. This is 90% thru the season and very few would have given them any hope at all for a SB run much less even making the playoffs.

0-4 failure in 25% of the season is a huge hurdle to overcome but is one that has been accomplished by many teams. Even the Packers 2010 championship year had two 1-3 stretches during the regular season.

Sounds like yours is pretty weak. Odds for an 0-4 team to make the playoffs....

You don't think Brees is slightly above suspicion at this point?
What else does he have to do?

Let me get this straight.
You don't think Brees' contract caused our current predicament.
But you're still defending those that do?

Im not defending anyone. Im against those who bash people for assigning any blame to brees at all. Brees is not God. You cant tell me that Brees has zero responsibility in 0-4. I love the Saints, and I recognize that Brees is one of the best in the league. However, Im not going to suck him off, and burn those at the stake who choose not to do so.

Reality is, Saints are 0-4. Playoff chances are as thin as a twat hair. Brees is the leader of this team. You take your lumps if youre the leader.

weak on reading comprehension? read the sentence before the one you quoted-

So where is the part where they start 0-4?

Okay but my point is how can any QB play great on a team like this? We have no defense, our running game is pedestrian and we dont have our Head coach. There's not much else he can do right now. Oh and didn't he throw for 300+ yards last game? yea that's a real suckfest...

He never said anything about that.
